Founder and curator of Well by Design, an online community dedicated to the art of home curation, Lauren’s coveted interior style is richly layered to create spaces that showcase her soulful approach to living well.
“After over four years of pouring our hearts into every detail, this home is a true labor of love to shape a space that feels both timeless and deeply personal. It is a result of passionate collecting, embodying my philosophy of slow curation,” shares Lauren.
The kitchen
The kitchen
A harmonious majestic-meets-modern design, Lauren’s kitchen has a spacious layout elevated by high ceilings. A contemporary take on Parisian design, a palette of warm white pairs with natural woods to bring an organic and homely feel, whilst charcoal accents add polished flair.

A thoughtful trio of marble, oak and brass bring timeless appeal to form a room that promises to age gracefully. From the exposed beams and pendant lights to the combination of cabinetry, Lauren’s expert eye for curating a space is present in each considered design detail.

The mudroom
Moving to the mudroom, painted joinery and ceramic tiling in earthy terracotta tones evoke a feeling of traditional Mediterranean warmth. A classic checkerboard floor, typical of ancient Roman villas, marries the contrasting black framed windows, whilst accents of gold dress the vented cabinetry.

Lauren notes, “The art of mudroom design lies in creating spaces that gracefully manage life’s daily rhythms while preserving your home’s beauty.”
The master en-suite
The master en-suite
A truly tranquil retreat, Lauren's en-suite showcases a beautiful pearlescent tiled wall to form the backdrop for luxurious his and hers vanities. A through-the-looking-glass style archway elegantly mirrors the shapes of the wall tiles and reveals a scenic outlook of the verdant grounds to add to the fresh and serene style of the space.

Linear details elongate the feeling of space in the reeded oak vanity cabinets and cylinder wall lights, whilst the rectangular shape of the mirrors and counters offer a subtle juxtaposition.

The guest bedroom
The guest bedroom
For Lauren’s guest room, the look is sophisticated and welcoming in equal measure. The otherwise neutral design is enriched with subtle touches of aubergine, rose and Tuscan yellow, all detailed in the window seat upholstery and flower stamp rug. Featuring traditional bun hardware from our Cotswold collection, the interior is a nod to the comforting appeal of European farmhouse style.

Lauren highlights, “This guest room showcases such fun pattern play. In this space, I combined houndstooth and a large floral grid, which feel like perfect companions through their shared colour story.”

A polished affair, crisp lines and chic silver hues lead the design of Lauren’s guest bathroom. A contemporary oak vanity warms up the space, whilst a marble counter brings a boutique feel.

At first glance, the styling of this space may appear minimal, however, the less-is-more look is thoughtfully curated so that each piece contributes individual character. A boucle stool adds softness and texture, whilst a pair of vintage artworks serve a dose of timeless personality.
